Three Passenger Bench Seat Backrest - Vehicles Without: Rear Seat Recliner: Removal

WARNING: The following procedure describes critical repair steps required for correct seat component installation. Follow all notes and steps carefully. Do not place any objects between the seat components and the body of the vehicle, nor any objects within a joint internal to the seat structure. Failure to follow step instructions may result in incorrect operation of the seat components and increases the risk of serious personal injury.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LH three passenger bench seat backrest shown, all others similar.

1. Remove the three passenger seat backrest cover. Refer to: Three Passenger Bench Seat Backrest Cover .
2. Remove the backrest foam while positioning the safety belts through the foam openings.

3. Position the safety belt through the backrest upper safety belt guide.

4. 1. Release the locking tabs and remove the safety belt guide cover.
   2. Position the safety belt through the backrest safety belt guide.

5. Remove the bolts and the seat backrest.

6. Remove the seat support bracket from the seat backrest.
