Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler to EGR Valve Tube: Removal

- Disconnect the quick release coupling and position aside the hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Disconnect the electrical connectors and wiring harness retainer.
- Position aside the wiring harness.

- Disconnect the electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.
- Loosen the hose clamps.
- Remove the nut and the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor.

- Remove the EGR cooler to EGR valve tube nuts.
- Remove and discard the gasket.

- Remove the fasteners.
- Remove and discard the gasket.
- Remove the EGR cooler to EGR valve tube.
- If installing the new EGR cooler to EGR valve tube. Remove the EGR back pressure sensor. Refer to: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Back Pressure Sensor .
- If installing the new EGR cooler to EGR valve tube. Remove the EGR temperature sensor. Refer to: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature Sensor .
