Parking Assist Control Module (PAM): Removal

NOTE: If installing a new PAM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new PAM after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the PAM following the onscreen instructions.
- If equipped. Remove bolt and position the seatbelt aside.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

- Position aside the weatherstrip.
- Release the clips and remove the upper D-pillar trim panel.
- If equipped. Release the clips and remove the seatbelt retractor access trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the rear side trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the B-pillar trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the rear side window trim panel.
- If equipped. Release the strap and remove the vehicle jack assembly.
- If equipped. Remove the bolts and the vehicle jack assembly bracket.
- Release the pin-type retainers and position aside the loadspace trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and position aside wire harness.
- Remove the screws and the PAM.
