Transmission Fluid Heater Coolant Control Valve: Removal

WARNING: When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.
Loosen the pressure relief cap.
- Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Disconnect the coolant control valve electrical connector.
- Clamp off the coolant control valve hoses.
Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
- Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.
Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Remove the bolt and the transmission fluid heater coolant control valve.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
