Exhaust Manifold RH: Installation

Vehicles with cast iron exhaust manifold 

1. • Install new exhaust manifold studs.

     Torque: 115 lb.in (13 Nm)

   • Install a new gasket.

2. Install the exhaust manifold and new nuts.

   Torque:

   Stage 1: 168 lb.in (19 Nm)

   Stage 2: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

   Vehicles with stainless steel exhaust manifold 

3. • Install new exhaust manifold studs.

     Torque: 115 lb.in (13 Nm)

   • Install a new gasket.

4. Install the exhaust manifold and new nuts.

   Torque:

   Stage 1: 168 lb.in (19 Nm)

   Stage 2: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)

5. Install the RH turbocharger. Refer to: Turbocharger RH .
