DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition ABS C1034:00 Park Brake: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an internal ABS module failure is detected. ABS C1034:44 Park Brake: Data Memory Failure This DTC sets when an internal ABS module failure is detected. ABS C1034:49 Park Brake: Internal Electronic Failure This DTC sets when an internal ABS module failure is detected. Possible Sources
- ABS module.
- A1 CHECK FOR OTHER ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)NOTE: Vehicles with Dual Rear Wheels may have EPB wiring present on vehicle. The EPB system is NOT equipped on these vehicles, but the ABS module may set Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the wiring.
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test.
Are there additional Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the ABS module?
Yes For all other ABS module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), GO to the appropriate DTC Chart: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module. No GO to A2 - A2 USING THE DIAGNOSTIC SCAN TOOL
- Clear DTC.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the ABS module self-test.
Did Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) C1034:00, C1034:44 or C1034:49 set in the ABS module again?
Yes Replace the ABS module. REFER to: Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The problem may have been caused by an unexpected powerdown or invalid data.
