Module Network Input Messages - Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Active park assist warning PAM Input used for the active park assist warning chime.
Brake pedal applied PCM Input used for the PRNDL not-in-park chime.
Cross traffic alert sensor status-left SODL Input used for the CTA warning chime
Cross traffic alert sensor status-right SODR Input used for the CTA warning chime
Cross traffic alert status-left SODL Input used for the CTA warning chime
Cross traffic alert status-right SODR Input used for the CTA warning chime
Door ajar status BCM Input used for the door ajar chime, key-in-ignition chime, headlamps on chime and PRNDL not-in-park chime.
Driver seatbelt buckle status RCM Input used for the seatbelt chime and the Belt-Minder® chime.
Forward collision chime request IPMA Input used for the forward collision alert warning chime.
Front park aid chime request PAM Input used for the front park aid chime.
Hood ajar status BCM Input used to wake up the chime modules on the CAN upon the hood status change to open.
Ignition status BCM Ignition RUN, START and accessory states required for the IPC operating modes and fault reporting.
Key in ignition status BCM Input used for the key-in-ignition warning chime.
Left turn lamp on request BCM Input used for the turn indication tick-tock chime.
Parking brake chime request BCM Input used for the parking brake warning chime.
Parklamp status BCM Input used for the lights on warning chime.
Power mode BCM Input used for the key-in-ignition warning chime, PRNDL not in park warning chime and the seatbelt warning chime.
Rear park aid chime request PAM Input used for the rear park aid chime.
Right turn lamp on request BCM Input used for the turn indication tick-tock chime.
Transmission gear display mode PCM Input used for the PRNDL not-in-park chime.
Turn indicator command BCM Input used for the turn signals on chime tone (tick-tock).
Vehicle speed PCM Input used for the following: vehicle speed component of the Belt-Minder® chimevehicle speed component of the turn signal tick-tock chimeparking brake chime
