Rocker Arm: Removal

All rocker arms 

1. Remove the LH and/or RH valve covers. Refer to: Valve Cover LH . Refer to: Valve Cover RH 

   Cylinders 2 and 3 exhaust rocker arms 

2. Remove the bolts and the camshaft cap.

3. Rotate the crankshaft pulley bolt clockwise to position the camshaft lobe upward for the camshaft roller follower to be removed.

4. 1. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1633 Remover, Roller Rocker Follower., 303-1633-01 Remover, Roller Rocker Follower.
   2. Turn the knob on the special tool clockwise to depress the valve and spring.
   3. Disengage the spring clip from the hydraulic lash adjuster and remove the rocker arm.
