- S1 VERIFY THE PERFORMANCE SHIFT INDICATION FUNCTION IS TURNED ON

NOTE: The IPC and message center navigation can be found in the Owner's Literature.
Using the message center switch, verify through the message center the performance shift indication function is turned on.
Is the performance shift indication function turned on?
Yes GO to S2 No Turn on the performance shift indication function. -
- S2 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to DTC Chart: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . No GO to S3 - S3 PERFORM THE HUD (HEAD UP DISPLAY) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the HUD self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes DIAGNOSE the HUD Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to: Collision Warning and Collision Avoidance System No GO to S4 - S4 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCS FROM THE PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PCM self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to the appropriate Electronic Engine Controls article. No GO to S5 - S5 CHECK THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the GWM Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to: Communications Network No INSTALL a new HUD.
