- BQ1 CHECK THE SEATBELT WARNING CHIME OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Unbuckle the driver seatbelt.
- Monitor the seatbelt warning chime when the ignition is transitioned from OFF to RUN for 6 seconds.
Does the seatbelt warning chime operate for approximately 6 seconds?
Yes GO to BQ2 No GO to Pinpoint Test BV - BQ2 CHECK THE MEMORY SET FEATURE
- Verify the memory set procedure can successfully change the memory preferences.
Does the memory set procedure successfully change the memory preferences?
Yes GO to BQ3 No - BQ3 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to DTC Chart: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . No GO to BQ4 - BQ4 PERFORM THE DSM (DRIVER FRONT SEAT MODULE) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the DSM self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes No GO to BQ5 - BQ5 CHECK THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the GWM Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to: Communications Network No DIAGNOSE any DSM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
