Parking Brake Cable Adjustment

Special Tool(s) / General Equipment 

Adjustment 

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview

2. Tighten the parking brake cable adjustment nut until one or both caliper levers are 2.0 mm off of their stops.

   Use the General Equipment: Feeler Gauge

3. Fully apply and release the parking brake 5 times

4. Tighten the parking brake cable adjustment nut until one or both caliper levers are 1.0 mm off of their stops.
