Front Muffler: Removal
NOTE:
Do not excessively bend, twist or allow the exhaust to hang from the flexible joint or damage to the exhaust system may occur.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
- Loosen the clamps and separate the front muffler and tailpipe from the catalytic converters.

NOTE: Support the rear mufflers using mechanic's wire.
Carefully cut the muffler and tailpipes where shown in illustration and remove the center muffler. Use the General Equipment: Air Body Saw
