Hood Alignment

Inspection 

1. Inspect the hood-to-body dimensions. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME

   All alignments 

2. Remove the hood latch. Refer to: Hood Latch

   Hood fore and aft, left and right alignments 

   NOTE: Coupe shown in illustration, convertible similar.
   NOTE: Base version hood shown in illustration, all others similar.
3. Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the hood.

4. Carefully close the hood.

5. Adjust the hood to specification. Refer to: BODY AND FRAME

6. Carefully open the hood.

7. Tighten the nuts.

   Torque

   : 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

   Hood front up and down alignments 

8. Adjust the bump stop rubbers.

9. Carefully close the hood.
