Strut Tower Cross Brace - GT500: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Support the hood with a commercially available hood prop.

Open the hood.

Disconnect the lower hood support and position aside the hood strut.

Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille
Detach the wiring harness retainer.

Remove the bolts, then move the coolant reservoir out of the way.
Torque

: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Remove the nuts, and the bolts, then remove the strut tower cross brace.
Torque

:Tighten the nuts to: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

Tighten the bolts to: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
