Engine Front Undershield - GT500: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - GT500 - Overview
If equipped, on both sides
- Remove the pin type retainers
- Remove the fasteners and the front bumper side extension.
  Torque
  
  : 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

Remove the fastener covers.

Remove the fasteners and the underbody shield.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Remove the bolts.
Torque

: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

- Remove the retainer.
- Remove the bolts and the engine front undershield.
  Torque
