Front Bumper Cover - Mach 1: Removal

All vehicles 

1. Remove the front wheels and tires. Refer to: Wheel and Tire

   Vehicles equipped with performance package 

2. Drill the rivets, remove the screws and remove the air splitter. Use the General Equipment: Electric Drill

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

3. On both sides. Remove the push pins and position the fender liner aside.

4. Remove the screws, the trim pin and the under engine closeout panel.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

5. On both sides. Disconnect the electrical connector.

6. Remove the push pins and the radiator sight shield.

7. On both sides. Remove the nuts, the trim pin and separate the front bumper cover from the fender bracket.

   Torque

   : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

8. Remove the screws.

   Torque

   :1: 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

   2: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

9. NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

   Remove the front bumper cover.

   1. Lift the front bumper cover up and off the alignment pins.
   2. Pull the front bumper cover forward and off the vehicle.
