Front Bumper Cover - GT500: Removal

Remove the front wheels and tires. Refer to: Wheel and Tire
If equipped, on both sides. Remove the screws, the bolts and the splitter wickers.
Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

Remove the screw covers.

Remove the screws and the lower air splitter.
Torque

: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Remove the bolts, the screws, the push pins, the trim pin and the under engine closeout panel.
Torque

: 1.: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

2.: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the push pin and the bolts.
Torque

: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the push pins and position the fender liner aside.

On both sides. Remove the bolt, release the tab and remove the upper air splitter.
Torque

On both sides. Disconnect the electrical connector.

On both sides. Remove the bolts, trim pin and separate the front bumper cover from the fender bracket.

With the help of an assistant. Remove the front bumper cover.
1. Lift the front bumper cover up and off the alignment pins.
2. Pull the front bumper cover forward and off the vehicle.
