Rear Bumper Cover - GT500 Mach 1: Disassembly

All vehicles 

1. Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to: Rear Bumper Cover - GT500/Mach 1 
2. Disconnect the rear bumper cover wiring harness electrical connectors.

3. Release the rear bumper cover wiring harness guides and remove the wiring harness.

4. Release the tabs and remove the rear bumper reinforcement.

   Vehicles with cellular phone antenna 

5. On both sides. Remove the screws and the 4G cellular phone antenna.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

   All vehicles 

6. On both sides. Press the tabs and remove the license plate lamp.

7. Press the tabs and remove the decklid release switch.

8. Remove the screws and the reversing lamp.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

9. On both sides. Remove the speed nut, release the tab and remove the rear reflector.

10. On both sides. Release the tab and remove the side marker lamp.

12. Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the lower bumper cover.

    Torque

    : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

13. Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the lower bumper cover.
