Visual Park Aid Alert

NOTE: The on-screen alert color transitions may not match changes in the audible parking aid alert tone frequency.

The visual park aid alert feature displays red, yellow or green visual alerts that appear as highlights over the video image in the zone where an object has been detected by the rear parking aid system. This feature utilizes the parking aid sensor data from the PAM to generate the visual highlights over the video image. When the reverse gear is selected and an object is detected by a parking aid sensor, the parking aid sensor data message is sent from the PAM through the HS-CAN1 to the BCM, which sends the message to the rear parking aid camera via the LIN circuit. 18 - 41 in (46 - 105 cm)	Yellow
42 - 71 in (106 - 180 cm)	Green
72 + in (181 + cm)	No highlight

If the visual park aid alert feature is enabled, the feature is still operational even if the audible rear parking aid system has been disabled by the driver.
