DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMB U0300:57 Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility: Invalid/Incompatible Software Component Sets in the IPMB when invalid or incompatible software is detected. IPMB U3000:42 Control Module: General Memory Failure Sets in the IPMB when module RAM hardware fails. IPMB U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure Sets in the IPMB when module detects an internal failure. Possible Sources

- AN1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPMB (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE B) SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPMB self-test.
Is DTC U0300:57, U3000:42 or U3000:49 retrieved?
Yes INSTALL a new IPMB, REFER to: Image Processing Module B (IPMB) . No The system is operating correctly at this time.
