Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Outlet Tube: Removal

  1. Loosen the EGR inlet tube fasteners.

    1. Loosen the EGR inlet tube nut.
    2. Loosen the EGR inlet tube bracket fastener.

  3. Loosen the EGR valve bracket fasteners.

    • Remove the EGR valve outlet tube fasteners.

    • Position aside the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor hose.

    • Remove the fastener and position aside the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor.

    • Remove the fasteners and EGR valve outlet tube.

    • Remove and discard the EGR tube o-ring seal and gasket.
