Throttle Body: Installation

- Inspect the throttle body gasket, clean or replace as needed. Clean the mating surfaces.
- Install the throttle body, then install and tighten the bolts in the following 2 stages, in the sequence shown.
Torque: Tighten to: : 44 lb.in (5 Nm) Re-tighten to: : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Connect the throttle body electrical connector, then connect the wire harness retainer.
- Install the charge air cooler outlet tube. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Outlet Pipe .
