| P06E4 | Control Module Wake-up Circuit Performance | RETRIEVE and RECORD all CMDTCs. If BCM DTC C113A:11 or C113A:15 is found, REFER to the BCM DTC Chart . If PCM DTC P06E4 is found GO to Pinpoint Test A |
| P06E9 | Engine Starter Performance | If the engine cranks, Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - POWERTRAIN DTC CHARTS & DESCRIPTIONS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) . If the engine does not crank, for vehicles without push button start, GO to Pinpoint Test B For vehicles with push button start, GO to Pinpoint Test C |
| P162F | Starter Motor Disabled - Engine Crank Time Too Long | This DTC sets in the PCM when the engine has been cranked for more than a total of 60 seconds without allowing sufficient time for the starter to cool. Diagnose all other DTCs and symptoms. Check the charging system voltage and correct as necessary. Clear the DTC. |
