Cooling Module: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Evacuate the A/C system. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging - Vehicles With: R1234YF Refrigerant .
- Remove the radiator grille opening panel. Refer to: Radiator Grille Opening Panel .

NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the condenser inlet and outlet nuts and disconnect the fittings.
Torque
:Stage 1: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)Stage 2: 155 lb.in (17.5 Nm)

- Disconnect the quick release coupling.
- Loosen the clamp and position the upper radiator hose.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

- Detach the coolant hose retainer.
- Remove the bolt and position the degas bottle aside.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and detach the wiring harness retainers.
- Release the clips and remove the radiator air deflector.
- Loosen the clamp and position the CAC hose.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

- Disconnect the MAP electrical connector.
- Release the quick connect coupling.
- Loosen the clamp and position the CAC hose.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Release the tabs, remove the bolt and the CAC.
Torque
: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Remove the cooling module.
