- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The PCM monitors clutch applications if a non electrical fault is detected for the TCC a DTC is set in memory.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition PCM P076F:00 Gear 7 Incorrect Ratio: No Sub Type Information The PCM detected ratio errors 4 times either in or while shifting to seventh gear. The ratio error did not last long enough for the PCM to isolate the fault to a specific clutch. The logic disabled seventh gear for the remainder of the current key cycle the fault occurred in. The DTC self clears after 40 warm up cycles have been completed without detecting the fault again. Possible Sources
- Transmission fluid contamination
- C solenoid or C clutch damaged
- D solenoid or D clutch damaged
- E solenoid or E clutch damaged
- F solenoid or F clutch damaged
- T1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTC for the PCM.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the PCM self-test.
Is DTC P076F present in the PCM?
Yes REFER to: C Clutch . REFER to: D Clutch . REFER to: E Clutch . REFER to: F Clutch . No The fault is not present at this time and may be intermittent.
