Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler: Removal

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
  2. Remove the pushpins and the upper radiator air deflector.

  3. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler bolts.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  4. Remove the headlamp assemblies. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .
  5. Remove the bolts and the reinforcement panel.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  6. Remove the bolts and the front bumper.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  7. Disconnect the impact severity sensors, the hood ajar switch, the ambient air temperature sensor and the horn electrical connectors. Detach the wiring harness retainers.

  8. Open the hood latch cable connector cover.

  9. Disconnect the hood latch cable.

  10. Remove the bolts and the front module carrier.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  11. Release the clamps and remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler.
