Pinpoint Test V: U2100:00 Or U201A:55

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMB U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not Complete: No Sub Type Information Sets in the IPMB due to incomplete or incorrect PMI procedures.
    IPMB U201A:55 Control Module Main Calibration Data: Not Configured Sets in the IPMB due to incomplete or incorrect PMI procedures.

    Possible Sources 

    • IPMB

  2. V1 CHECK VEHICLE HISTORY FOR RECENT SERVICE ACTIONS

    • Check the vehicle history for any recent service actions related to the IPMB.

    Have any service actions been performed? 

    Yes  REPEAT the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.
    No  GO to  V2

  3. V2 RECONFIGURE THE MODULE

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, perform the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.

    • Verify that the IPMB functions correctly.

    Does the IPMB functions correctly? 

    Yes  The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by incomplete or incorrect PMI procedure.
    No  If the IPMB fails to retain configuration data. INSTALL a new IPMB, REFER to: Image Processing Module B (IPMB)
