Transmission Fluid Heater Coolant Control Valve: Removal

    WARNING: When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.

    Loosen the pressure relief cap.

  2. Detach the wiring harness retainer and disconnect the coolant control valve electrical connector.

  3. Clamp off the coolant control valve hoses.

  4. Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  5. Remove the nuts and the transmission fluid heater coolant control valve.

    Torque: 155 lb.in (17.5 Nm)
