Oil Cooler: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. NOTE: Locate the notch on the base of oil cooler to the anti-rotation feature on the oil filter adapter.

    Install the oil cooler and the bolt.

    Torque: Stage 1: 17 lb.ft (22.5 Nm) Stage 2: 75 deg. Stage 3: Wait 2s Stage 4: 15 deg.

    1. Using the hose clamp Installer, install the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
    2. Remove the hose locking pliers.

  3. Install LH front fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
  4. Inspect and adjust the coolant level in the degas bottle. Refer to: Specifications .
  5. Inspect and adjust the engine oil level. Refer to: Specifications .
