Removal And Installation: Flexplate: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting .
- Remove the automatic transmission. Refer to: Transmission - 2.3L EcoBoost (199kW/270PS) .

NOTE: Do not reuse the flexplate bolts.
Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
- Discard the bolts.
