Output Shaft: Disassembly

NOTE: Clean and inspect components for wear or damage, Install new components as necessary.

NOTE: When removing the bearing, do not over expand the bearing cage or damage to the bearing cage can occur.

Remove the mid plate bearing.

NOTE: The synchronizer rings may come off when the output shaft is separated from the input shaft.

If needed. Remove the 4th gear synchronizer rings.

NOTE: The output shaft to input shaft connection bearing will be installed during assembly of the transmission.

NOTE: The output shaft to input shaft connection bearing may stay with the input shaft when the output shaft is separated from the input shaft.

If needed. Remove the output shaft to input shaft connection bearing.
