Input Shaft: Assembly

NOTE: When installing the bearing, do not over expand the bearing cage or damage to the bearing cage can occur.
Install the 5th gear needle bearing.
- Install the 5th gear.
- Install the 5th gear synchronizer ring.

NOTE: The 5th/6th gear synchronizer has to be installed the same direction as removal.
Install the 6th/5th gear synchronizer.

NOTE: Use care to not scratch the input shaft surfaces or leaks and/or premature part failures such as bearings may be the result.
Install the 6th/5th gear synchronizer circlip.
- Install the 6th gear synchronizer ring.

NOTE: It is recommended that all washers, bearings etc. to be installed in the same direction as removed from the shafts so that all parts are installed in the same direction with all the same mating surfaces touching as removed.
Install the 6th gear needle bearing.
- Install the 6th gear.

Install the split washer and the thrust washer.

Install the 3rd gear needle bearing.
- Install the 3rd gear.
- Install the 3rd gear synchronizer rings.
- Install the 3rd/4th gear synchronizer.

NOTE: Use care to not scratch the input shaft surfaces or leaks and/or premature part failures such as bearings may be the result.
Install the 3rd/4th gear synchronizer circlip.
