Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
- Worn or rough reverse idler gear
  - Inspect the reverse idler gear. Install new components as necessary.
- Excessive backlash in gears
  - Check the gear backlash. Adjust as necessary.
- Worn countershaft gears
  - Inspect the countershaft gears. Install new components as necessary.
