- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

- Inspect the suspect gears, shift rails, shift forks, and the synchronizer for damage or wear. Repair or install new components as necessary.

- Inspect the shift shaft assembly, shift rail, gear shift interlock, and shift forks for damage, wear, or binding. Repair or install new components as necessary.
