Exhaust Flexible Pipe: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting .
1. NOTE: Make sure that a nuts are installed.
  
  Remove and discard the nuts.
  
  Torque
  
  : 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
2. Remove the hanger bracket bolts and position aside the muffler inlet pipe.
  Torque
  
  : 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that new gasket is installed.

Remove and discard the gasket.

If equipped. Remove the bolts and the shield.
Torque

: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

Remove the bolt and the hanger bracket.
Torque

: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure new bolts are installed.

Remove the bolts and the hanger bracket. Discard the bolts.

Torque

: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)

NOTE: Install new clamp if necessary.

NOTE: During assembly, make sure the tab is fully seated in the notch on the pipe.

Loosen the clamp and remove the crossover pipe with exhaust flexible pipe.

Torque

: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
