Parking Assist Control Module (PAM): Removal

NOTE: If installing a new PAM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new PAM after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the PAM following the onscreen instructions.
3-Door vehicle
- Remove the RH loadspace trim panel. Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel - 3-Door
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the bolts and the PAM assembly.
Torque: 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)
5-Door vehicle
- Remove the RH loadspace trim panel. Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel - 5-Door
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the bolts and the PAM assembly.
Torque: 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)
All vehicles
- Remove the nuts and the PAM from the bracket.
