Rear Seat Backrest: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
The 40 percent backrest must be removed to allow removal of the 60 percent backrest.
All backrests
- Remove the rear LH seatbelt buckle. Refer to: Rear Seatbelt Buckle LH .

- Lift the rear seat latch release handle.
- Lower the rear seat backrest.
- If equipped with heated seats. Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.

- Lower the backrest.
- Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm rearward and release the backrest.
- Remove the 40 percent seat backrest.
60 percent backrest

- Lift the rear seat latch release handle.
- Lower the rear seat backrest.
- If equipped with heated seats. Disconnect the heated seat electrical connectors.

- Lower the backrest.
- Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm rearward and release the backrest.
- Remove the 60 percent seat backrest.
