Pinpoint Test AK : P1594 Or P1595

  1. AK1 CHECK FOR PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the PCM self-test.

    Are any PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present? 

    Yes  REFER to the PCM DTC Chart in the appropriate Electronic Engine Controls article.
    No  GO to  AK2

  2. AK2 CHECK FOR BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the BCM self-test.

    Are any BCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present? 

    Yes  REFER to BCM DTC Chart .
    No  Refer to BCM Guided Routine .
