Fuel Filler Door Release Solenoid (hybrid vehicles)

The fuel filler door release solenoid activates when the PCM energizes the fuel filler door release relay. When the fuel filler door release solenoid activates, it releases the fuel filler door latch. The process to release the fuel filler door can take as long as 15 seconds.
