Transmission Fluid Cooler - 1.5L EcoBoost (118kW/160PS) - I4/2.5L Duratec (110kW/150PS): Installation

  1. Install the transmission fluid cooler and the bolt.

    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

  2. Connect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler tubes.

  3. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler tube secondary latches.

  4. Attach the coolant hoses and position the clamps.

  5. Install the engine undershield and the retainers.

  6. Install the air cleaner. For 1.5L, Refer to: Air Cleaner . For 2.5L, Refer to: Air Cleaner .
  7. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For 1.5L, Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding . For 2.5L, Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
  8. Check the transmission fluid level and adjust as necessary. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
