Brake Vacuum Pump - 2.0L EcoBoost (184kW/250PS) - MI4: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
2. Squeeze the sides of the coupling and disconnect the vacuum tube.

3. Detach the wiring retainer, remove the nuts and position the EVAP purge valve and bracket aside.

   Torque

   : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

4. Remove the bolts and the brake vacuum pump.

   Torque

   : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
