Engine Mount: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the retainers and the engine undershield.

  3. Detach the wire harness retainer.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wire harness retainers.

  5. Remove the bolt and position the degas bottle aside. Detach the coolant hose retainer.

    Torque:

    44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  6. Remove the engine mount bolts and the nut.

    Torque:

    66 lb.ft (90 Nm)

  7. NOTE: Failure to position the wood block and floor jack as illustrated can result in damage to the oil pan.

    Using a trolley jack and wooden block, support the engine. Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block

  8. Remove the engine mount nuts and the engine mount.

    Torque:

    66 lb.ft (90 Nm)
