Pinpoint Test AQ : The Fuel Maintenance Mode Or Oil Maintenance Mode Message Is Never Displayed (PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle))
- AQ1 CHECK THE MESSAGE CENTER OPERATION
- Ignition ON.
- Close all doors the hood and luggage compartment lid.
- Clear all message center warnings by pressing the OK button for each warning present.
- Monitor the door ajar RTT warning indicator.
- Open the driver door.
- Clear the message center popup warning.
- Monitor the door ajar RTT warning indicator.
Is the door ajar RTT warning indicator off with the door closed, and on with the door open?
Yes GO to AQ2 No Refer to IPC Guided Routine Testing . - AQ2 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to DTC Chart: IPC . No GO to AQ3 - AQ3 PERFORM THE SOBDMC (SECONDARY ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC CONTROL MODULE C) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the SOBDMC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (HYBRID) . No GO to AQ4 - AQ4 CHECK THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the GWM Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?
Yes REFER to: Communications Network - 2.0L Duratec - Hybrid (103kW/140PS) (UA) . No The system is operating correctly at this time. The SOBDMC has not met the criteria required to request the fuel maintenance mode or oil maintenance mode message display.
