Pinpoint Test X : DTC: U0257:00: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The SCME and the FCIM communicate using the HS-CAN3 and MS-CAN.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0257:00 Lost Communication with Front Controls / Display Interface Module: No Sub Type Information Set by the SCME whenever it has lost communication to the FCIM while SCME input voltage is between 10 and 15.5 volts.
