Pinpoint Test Q : The Charging System Warning Indicator Is Never Or Always On (Base IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) Only): Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Charging System Warning Indicator. REFER to: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation and Component Description .

If the charging system indication request message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the charging system warning indicator to the last indication state (on or off), based upon on the last message received.

If the charging system indication request message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the charging system warning indicator on.
