  1. AH1 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE GPSM (GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM MODULE) SELF-TEST

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the GPSM self-test.

    Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded? 

    Yes  Refer to the appropriate service information in the Information & Entertainment Systems  articles for the procedure.
    No  GO to  AH2

  2. AH2 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.

    Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded? 

    Yes  REFER to DTC Chart - IPC  .
    No  INSTALL a new GPSM. Refer to the appropriate service information in the Information & Entertainment Systems  articles for the procedure.
