Image Processing Module B (IPMB): Installation

All vehicles 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

   Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the IPMB following the on-screen instructions.

   Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. cameras only. 

3. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB initialize the IPMB. Refer to: Parking Aid Camera Initialization .
4. Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .

   Vehicles equipped with 360 deg. camera and Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ 

5. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB initialize the IPMB. Refer to: Parking Aid Camera Initialization .
6. Align the 360 deg. cameras. Refer to: 360 Degree View Camera Alignment .
7. Align the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ camera system. Refer to: Pro Trailer Backup Assist Camera Alignment .

   Vehicles equipped with Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ only 

8. Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module Initialization-IPMB initialize the IPMB. Refer to: Parking Aid Camera Initialization .
9. Align the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ camera system. Refer to: Pro Trailer Backup Assist Camera Alignment .
