Pinpoint Test DW : U2100:00

  1. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 
    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPC U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not Complete: No Sub Type Information Sets in the IPC due to incomplete or incorrect PMI procedures.
    IPC U2200:00 Control Module Configuration Memory Corrupt: No Sub Type Information Sets in the IPC when module configuration memory fails.

    Possible Sources 

    • IPC

  2. DW1 CHECK VEHICLE HISTORY FOR RECENT SERVICE ACTIONS

    • Check the vehicle history for any recent service actions related to the IPC.

    Have any service actions been performed? 

    Yes  REPEAT the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.
    No  GO to  DW2

  3. DW2 RECONFIGURE THE MODULE

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.

    • Verify the IPC functions correctly.

    Does the IPC function correctly? 

    Yes  The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by incomplete or incorrect PMI procedure.
    No  The IPC fails to retain configuration data. Refer to IPC Guided Routine Testing .
