Overview

The power lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors upon request from any of the following inputs:

The driver door can also be unlocked/ locked manually using the mechanical key in a door lock cylinder.

If equipped, the passive entry feature automatically locks or unlocks the doors, or releases the liftgate latch (manual liftgate) or power opens the liftgate (power liftgate).

If equipped with an electronic fuel filler door release (hybrid vehicles), excessive fuel vapor pressure is removed from the fuel tank before the fuel filler door latch is released.

If equipped with a fuel filler door lock (non-hybrid vehicles), the fuel filler door lock operates in conjunction with the electronic driver door lock/unlock operation. When the driver door is electronically locked or unlocked, the fuel filler door is also electronically locked or unlocked.

Rear doors have mechanical child lock from the access above each rear door latch.
