Battery Tray - 1.5L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - I3/2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the battery. Refer to: Battery .
2. 1. 1.5L Ecoboost vehicles only Release the retainer and position the heater hoses aside.
   2. Detach the wire harness retainers from the battery tray.

3. 1. Remove the battery tray nuts.

      Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)

   2. Remove the bolts and the battery tray.

      Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
